PayPal e-Check to be available?

Greetings all
Haven't been on the site since the overhaul and must say: GREAT JOB!!

I want to buy a NESCAF and use PayPal, but NOT with a credit card. Rather, I want to debit my bank checking account as I have been for years now. Is NEQRP going to allow that eventually? -hopefully?
Thanks

PayPal with debit card

Hi Seab. You should be able to use your debit card just like any other card. Have you tried to purchase using the PayPal shopping cart? I would expect it to allow you to select your source of funds, once you log into your PayPal account through the checkout process. Let us know if this doesn't work.

If you have a PayPal

If you have a PayPal account, you can Add Funds from your bank and wait the few days for the transfer to clear. Then you could pay from that PayPal balance.

Jim may be willing to add eCheck service to the account, but credit cards (and therefore debit cards, too, I think) were a conscious exclusion.

PayPal/Debit

Thanks for the reply Bruce
Actually, I don't have a debit card per se, but a PayPal feature I've used for years is just to send "virtual cash", which is automatically deducted from my checking account. Saves a LOT of hassle for me and I don't have to go thru another card transaction. The Cart Checkout page states that NEQRP does not accept that option. Sooooo... I sure would like that convenience.
Thanks again,

If you have a PayPal account

From what I gather, a merchant/commercial account is required for credit cards. The current account is not
that type.

Anyone know the implications of an e-check endorsement ?

The current setup is operating flawlessly so far
and I heartily subscribe to the KISS Principle.

Buyers do have the option of sending a brick and
mortar check or do a bank transfer.

Paper checks wait to clear before a kit is sent out
and there may be hefty charges for bounced checks.
Don't know about e-checks, or what the demand is
to accept them.

BTW, Dave is very busy at the moment mailing out kits.
