Hello to the group!

A lot of water under the bridge since I got involved with QRP-NE. I've retired from NASA contracting, after two serious automobile accidents which fractured my back and crushed my left knee. I've recuperated and am able to enjoy my new status, smelling the roses I planted years ago in my garden. As well as, getting back into my favorite hobby HAM RADIO.

I'm looking forward to Field Day using a FT-857 and a SUPER ANTENNA mounted on a 26 foot portable mast assembly I made from an Army surplus mast. I want to operate out at JANE's ISLAND STATE PARK a mile from my QTH. Hopefully, my only contacts won't be the little flying types with long pointy needlely like noses...Hi..Hi.
