Nashua meeting February 9
Submitted by Dennis K1LGQ on January 18, 2008 - 17:37.UPDATE 20080210
The New England QRP Club Luncheon was a resounding success and everyone had many good stories, ate fine food and listened to wonderful conversations at the Nashua Holiday Inn. There were two dozen members and non-members who showed excitement for the goodies which were spread out on the tables for everyone to buy, look, sell, and just wonder at.
Emceeing the event was Dennis Marandos - K1LGQ who presented several topics to those present which were analyzed, discussed and bantered about. Members from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Jersey were present to share the camaraderie which was true to form and enjoyed by all.
Minutes from the February 2007 meeting
Submitted by Dennis K1LGQ on March 5, 2007 - 20:58.The club held its luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Nashua on February 24th with over two dozen members showing up. The meeting was held in the "bar" section of the Inn, which was very nice, however, future meetings will be reserved in the 'open' area. Mary, the lady who runs the bar, informed me we will have what we desire with a little pre-notice. I promised her I would.
The following members checked into the meeting:
K1WVO, WA1ZCQ, WB1HBE, KA1OS, KD1NA, KX1E, W4RPR, NE1OB, KØZK, NT1U, W1FMR, AB1AV, KC5OTX, AB1EF, K1ADW, AA1VS, K1LGC, KB1MKA, N1RX, N1RXV, AJ1J, K1CL, K1LGQ.

October 28, 2006 Luncheon Wrap-Up
Submitted by Dennis K1LGQ on October 28, 2006 - 21:29.The luncheon on Saturday (October 28th) was very well attended with over a dozen people showing at the Holiday Inn in Nashua. The usual coke and root beer and lots of freshly popped popcorn started our meeting with several show-n-tells from the membership. Bruce Beford – N1RX brought his “tennis ball” launcher, powered by compressed air which could hurl a projectile (a.k.a. tennis ball) 100 feet or more over any tree. It was really slick looking and Bruce even sculptured a black terrorist case to carry his launcher in. The colors yellow and black always stand out as important and Bruce did a superb job making it look professional. We all want one!

Submitted by Dennis K1LGQ on August 27, 2006 - 17:25.WOW - This was a super ARRL convention (August 26-27, 2006) and I am certainly thankful that the New England QRP Club was there. We have two years to make another presentation for the next ARRL convention and to ramp-up our club, projects, kits and wonderful members and show what our stuff is made of! A lot of feedback from those who were there and it's all positive. GREAT! Mano-mano...it was FUN.
THE EXCITEMENT IS BUILDING....
